Last Year’s 40 Hours of 40K Canada Event
2025 Winner’s Testimonial
“The whole event was such a great time. I was new to Warhammer 40K and was attending Warhammer School at Red Claw, which is where I heard about your event. I decided, why not check it out? It was a great decision.
I made some great friends and won some amazing prizes. The T’au army I won was painted so well! I couldn’t have been more excited to win it. I’m definitely coming back for 2026 with a team ready to go this time!
Thanks for putting on such a great event and supporting a good cause!”

One of the most valuable lessons we learned from previous events was that not everyone enjoys a highly competitive tournament environment. In response, we introduced a more narrative-driven format in 2025, allowing participants to focus on storytelling, camaraderie, and the shared enjoyment of the hobby. The change was extremely well received and created a more welcoming experience for players of all skill levels.
At the same time, we continued to provide opportunities for competitive players by offering dedicated challenge tables where attendees could test their tournament lists against members of the Trident Wargaming Team. These special challenge matches became an additional fundraising opportunity, with participants making donations to take on some of the region’s most accomplished players.
Volunteers
Our volunteers are the backbone of the 40 Hours of 40K event, dedicating countless hours to ensuring participants have an enjoyable and memorable experience while supporting an important cause.
For several years, members of Trident Wargaming have served as tournament organizers (TOs), helping manage game schedules, keep rounds running smoothly, and provide guidance on rules questions and gameplay disputes. Their expertise and commitment have been instrumental in creating a fair, organized, and welcoming environment for all participants.
In 2025, Red Claw Gaming Corp expanded its involvement and became a key partner in delivering the event experience. Drawing from its own Red Claw Constellation narrative setting, the team introduced immersive, story-driven elements that added depth, excitement, and continuity throughout the 40-hour endurance event.
Red Claw Gaming also coordinated several interactive fundraising initiatives, including the popular “Rent-a-Unit” program, helping participants bring legendary models onto the battlefield while generating additional donations in support of our mission. Their creativity and enthusiasm helped elevate the event and further demonstrated how the Warhammer community can come together to make a meaningful difference.
