WHAT IS 40 HOURS OF 40K
40 Hours of 40K is a Canadian charitable initiative that transforms tabletop gaming into a force for good.
We host immersive Warhammer 40K gaming events where players come together not just to compete—but to contribute to something greater.
Through endurance events, community gatherings, and creative collaboration, we provide tax receipts for eligible donations as we raise funds and build a space where connection, purpose, and support thrive.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Artists Create the Army through Philanthropy
Volunteer painters from around the world craft a professionally painted Warhammer 40K army.
2. Players Join the Event Fueled with Purpose
Participants compete in immersive collaborative gaming and training experiences.
3. Community Raises Funds for Infrastructure and Cause
Through ticket sales, donations, sponsorship, and fundraising activities.
4. A Tournament Winner Takes the Army Home
The champion earns a one-of-a-kind, high-value army.
5. A Positive Impact is Delivered Community Wide
Funds support our infrastructure, community services, mental health and suicide prevention.
WHY IT MATTERS
Many men struggle in silence.
Nearly 3 out of 4 suicides are men. Men are dying at significantly higher rates from suicide—yet they are far less likely to seek help.
Many struggle in silence, disconnected from support systems and lacking spaces where they feel safe to open up.
Isolation is one of the strongest predictors of mental health decline, and for many men, traditional support systems do not feel accessible.
A reliable aid to this challenge is connection through shared experience.
That is why 40 Hours of 40K exists.
Isolation, lack of community, and unresolved trauma—especially among veterans and first responders—create real challenges.

You can’t miss the 2027 Edmonton GameAthonAcon in partnership with No Gamer Left Behind.
We will have our own dedicated 40K room for at least 100 players within this first of its kind gaming event. You will be able to take part in our traditional 40 hour marathon tournament, PLUS! enjoy the rest of the epic experience at the Edmonton convention centre.
